It's cold! I'm leaving for a week, but Carol will still be here. She probably won't pick anything for you though. Women, huh? Anyway, you are welcome to as much as you want of:
-green onions (aka scallions) the shovel is by the pumphouse - please return it when done
-mustard greens
-turnip greens only
-butter beans
-tomatoes (san marzano only... they're only good for cooking with - please don't take the green ones)
-zucchini
-yellow squash
-okra - if you don't mind, pick every pod you can find or else it will stop producing. Thanks!

May 18
Squash - Yellow, Zucchini, and this white flying saucer shaped squash called 'pattypan'.
Cucumbers - They're white! They taste like regular cucumbers, but they're easier to find against the green foliage when picking them.
Tomatoes - Two per person. They aren't coming in fast yet. Check back next week.
New Zealand Spinach - Tastes kinda/sorta like regular spinach (yuck), except it grows in the summer.
Swiss Chard - Red, yellow and green. You have to pick it yourself.
Green beans - You have to pick them yourself. Please only take them from the pole beans. I just sprayed the bush beans yesterday, and they are not safe to eat yet.

We have almost nothing. The green beans are still producing. We've got a bunch of them at the house, and you can pick your own also, if you prefer. It's going to freeze tonight, so I covered them. If you get there before I do, please remove the cover.
DO NOT PICK THE MUSTARD, TURNIPS, OR SWISS CHARD! At least until 11/20. I sprayed 'em on the 13th to kill the stink bugs.

9/22/09 Stuff Available
- Tomatoes - They're tasty, but a bit bug bitten. I sprayed the crap out of them and think I've got the bugs beat. The good ones should start showing up around Oct 1. Until then, we've got a few dozen ugly tomatoes that taste good. DO NOT pick your own tomatoes right now without calling us. They may be covered with pesticide.
- Green beans (pyo)
- Okra
- Cucumbers
- Mustard greens
- Kohlrabi
- Southern peas (pyo)
- Orange bell peppers (pyo)
- Jalapeno peppers (pyo)
Also, feel free to pick the wild tomatillos that are all over the garden. Or, if you're feeling nice, yank the damned things up :).
(pyo=pick your own. These are plants that we don't generally spray, unless you see the sign.)

Fall
-Red and green tomatoes - as many as anyone can use. A few purple ones as well!
-Some kind of weird gourd. You're supposed to be able to make 'loofas' out of them.
-Pink-eye purple-hull peas. You must pick your own. Don't worry, it's fun (ha!)
-English (aka seedless aka burpless aka armenian) cucumbers
-Weeds. Not weed. Weeds. We've got a lot of them.
-Chinese long beans.
